The Soil, Water and Environment Alumni Association of Khulna University (SAAKU) is a platform that brings together the alumni of Khulna University’s Soil, Water and Environment Discipline—fostering connection, collaboration, and a shared commitment to our academic community and society.
Our journey began in 1998–99, when the Soil Science Discipline started with just 24 students. Today, the discipline has grown into the Soil, Water and Environment Discipline, with 22 graduating batches from 1999 to 2021 contributing across Bangladesh and beyond in education, research, government, development, industry, and entrepreneurship.
SAAKU is committed to strengthening the bond among alumni, supporting current students, promoting research and professional development, preserving our collective legacy, and contributing to social well-being. Through meaningful collaboration and a growing network of alumni at home and abroad, we aspire to build a stronger future for our discipline and the generations to come.
